I just received my big ego flat iron so I don't have a long experience with it, but so far I am very pleased. Previously, I had a bio ionic flat iron and after using it almost daily, my hair was fried-there was no heat setting option on it. I find that the ego flat iron feels like butter when the hair passes through. I am still trying to find the most minimum setting to achieve a flat result so that I wont fry my hair again. So far I think it is around 325. I tried a lower setting, but the flat result didn't seem to last all day. The swivel cord is great and makes for easy manipulation. The quality seems to be 5 star. I will update with further use. I am now curious about their blow dryers!
