Like most Canadians I rarely get up at sunrise, especially in winter, I always get up when it's dark. This SunRise Clokc simulates sunrise with a gradual increase in light, and gets brighter over during a preset 30-minute period (or duration you choose between 15 and 90 minutes). The light itself is quite bright and warm. I found it a pleasant experience to wake up to the light. It's easy to use and looks good on a nightstand. And I love its feature that you can also program "sunset," which gradually darkens the light to tell your body when it's time to go to sleep.

I recently bought this wakeup light system and I can honestly say it has improved my morning experience tenfold. Waking up gradually to a nice light especially in the dead dark of long winter days becomes much more pleasant.

As a student, one of my biggest pet peeves is having to get up early. Normal alarm clocks are more annoying than useful, and furthermore, I soon developed the ability to find and press the 'snooze' button while still remaining half-asleep. As a result, I chronically overslept and it became a big problem. I had heard about clocks that simulate sunrises as a way of naturally awakening you and thought it was pretty cool, so when I discovered that Fabove carried this product, I decided to give it a try. All I have to say is WOW! The Sunrise Clock really does work - it gradually brightens and helps you wake up comfortably! If you dread having to wake up in the morning, I strongly recommend you try this product.
