This hair straightener works great , heats up very quick , does not pull hair or burn hair. Hair salons use this all around where I live.

Initially I was very happy with my Avanti- It worked great. Didn't have to go over my hair three or four times to straighten and my hair would remain smooth and straight throughout the day. The only problem is that it doesn't work anymore. I had it for a little more than 2 year and it stopped working. I didn't over use (like flick the switch on and off repeatedly), or drop it, and I made sure I didn't bend the cord too much since I've heard that can break the electrical connection inside the straightener.
I was happy with the results, but I am not happy at all with the duralability of the machine. I've had other straighteners of higher or equal quality which cost less and worked for years or more. It's too bad.

Its the best, I have thick Hair and it works perfectly !! I used to have a babyliss pro, but my Avanti does a better job. My hair is silky smooth and shiny, and it doesn't take as long as it used too.

I went to BC with my Paul Brown hair straightener. My sister whom I was visiting had this straightener. I've been pretty loyal with my Paul Brown, and I mean loyal-- I've been using him for the past 10 years. One day I decided to try my sister's hair straightener out. I was in awe. It didn't pull out my hair and I didn't have to put it up to the 400's to get it straight [I have curly hair, think Taylor Swift]. Anywhozzils, on my way back to Ontario my Paul Brown broke. I decided to buy my this one and it's been great. I love it.
Not only is it cheaper [Paul Brown was 140$ +] but it's just great. It doesn't pull on my hair and it leaves it shiner and softer... I love it.

This straightener is so good. i got mine a year ago and it still works like brand new. in case anyone out there has never tried curling with a straightener, this is just to let you know that this straightener is AMAZING for curling hair. It also straightens really fast. I completly recommend it!!! :)

I got this flat iron. I was a little disapointed when my mom got this one for me for my birthday because I wanted a CHI one but I tried it out and I love it! I think it is better then a CHI and it is cheaper!

Excellent flat iron! It's my 2nd tourmaline flat iron that I owned and I also have a CHI ceramic flat iron but this Avanti is the best of all! It's very hot and leaves my hair shiny and sleek, and I only have to go through once!
