I found some comparative information that was not easily available elsewhere and so I was able to narrow down the product that I wanted to try quite easily. Looking elsewhere on the internet for several days previously had not been helpful until I found Fabove.ca which turned out to be pretty straight forward. It is not an ordinary mini iron. Actually its size is between the normal iron and mini iron. It has all features of an normal size iron has but at the half or one third of the price. I recommend it.

I have been looking around for universal voltage flat irons and this site by far is the only ones with dual voltage flatirons at reasonable prices!. Along with that, this site is a canadian website! This is NOT good for anyone who doesn't have fine hair. The plates are smaller than 1 inch, and shorter, and it was just frustrating. It is hot, and does have some features other mini straighteners does not. I'm going to give this away anyway.

I tried the FITI Babii travel iron and it is fine with bangs, but I find that it does not "clasp" properly although I have thick hair. Any idea?
Fabove's note: Because the FITI Babii is smaller than a standard-size flat iron, and its plates are shorter and more narrow, it can only accommodate smaller portions of hair. We would recommend you try straightening smaller portions of hair at a time. TO achieve a smooth styling result, it is always recommended to style a small section of hair every time, and style it section by section.
