Avanti Ultra Ceramic Tourmaline Flat Iron AV-GTL2

Purchased this product from fabove to upgrade from my old avanti flat Iron. Product arrived quickly to the East Coast without an issue. it worked great for over a year but now it stops flashing as if it's heated up but it's barley warm and won't work on my thick Hair. Very disappointing since I thought it was better quality product and would last longer. Haven't dropped or wrapped the cord around it to cause the damage so unsure why it just stopped working.

I loved my avanti which was also for a good price and i have curls galore but hasnt been a year and now it turns on heats to what its suppose too i use It for 2 seconds and shuts off right away what normally takes 20 mins to sttaighten my hair took me an hour today dont know which brand to but anymore so i think ill go back to my all time favorIte the babybliss at least that one lasted for 8 years for me compare to 9mths for the avanti and i cant find my receipt :(

I bought this flat iron on amazonn in mid to late aug 2015 because my babybliss that i had for over 5 years broke and before that i had another one for about 5 years. Which both lasted much longer than they should, most good irons last around 3 years. Anyways this flat iron that i bought in aug and i have taken really great care of ive never dropped all of sudden the other day i noticed that it was not warm and the blue light kept turning off after only using for a few seconds. So i would un plug and as soon as it heated it up i would quick use it and it would turn off and id turn it on and 2 sec later turn off, and yesterday not only did the light turn off when i was not using it but i would turn it on and it would not heat up?? and this is a nightmare because now i'm going to have to buy a new flat iron because my hair needs it so bad!! i'm going to have use this one that BARELY works until a new flat iron a different brand arrives so i'm not with out a iron. I'm going to try to mail this iron which cost $10 bucks it says and see if they will fix it or give me a new one and try to sell it to get some money back, but basically i'm out of money at a bad time right after the holidays!! Don't spend your money on this!! Spend a little more on a better iron! I guess thats what i guess for trying to get a professional flat iron for a great deal. Now i dont know what iron to buy!!

I am from Saskatchewan and everything I order takes weeks to arrive. I ordered this straightener on a Monday and it arrived on my doorstep (no having to pick it up at the post office, wait in line, have them ship it back because I cant get there in time etc) on the following FRIDAY. That is crazy fast. I of course plugged it in right away and used it and it works real good, I have not used it yet to do my whole head but so far I am happy with my purchase.

This Avanti works really well, but my hair was thick so I changed to a CHI with larger plates which didn't last long. So I went back to my Avanti after 2 years and it still works like it's new. This product lasts.
